Detroit Falls To Columbus

Justin Abdelkader held his own one man wolf pack Thursday night at the Joe as the Wings played Columbus. Abdelkader scored the only goal that night as Columbus won 3-1. Abby took that goal as his 18th of the season and his fifth goal in five games, something positive to hold on to.

The boys struggled to get the momentum going and they stuck with that for the rest of the game.

Defensively, mistakes were made, turnovers happened and Columbus took a hold of that.

Babcock said it best when he said “We’re not finding a way to win enough games right now, and we don’t look in sync or fluid”

Howard took the game as an insight to get better and continue to grow, so be looking for him to improve his game in future games.

Don’t count the wings out yet, they’ll be back before you know it.
