Detroit’s Three Game Win Streak Ends

Three game win streak for the Detroit Red Wings and the Calgary Flames put that to a stop coming out with a 5-2 win. The Wings started by coming out hot with two goals from Justin Abdelkader and Zetterberg and Cole adding assists to both. The only line producing that night was them as well.

Cole’s assists were his first points with his new team which is his second game since being acquired from the Dallas Stars.

The defense couldn’t stop Calgary from scoring 5 goals and taking the night with a win. The fire they held only lasted during the first period and then the Flames began to take over.

According to Babcock the boys need to play the full 60 minutes and he’s looking to switch up lines for the next game.

Wings look to make a comeback Sunday against the Boston Bruins.
