Wings Hunt the Predators 5-2

Yesterday the Wings earned their 168th consecutive sellout at the Joe which also resulted in a 5-2 over the Nashville Predators.

Home crowd advantage? Maybe. But when a team comes out skating like they want it, something magical happens. That magic resulted in the Wings showing off to the Predators and defeating the top team in the NHL right now.

For those who watched the game, you could tell the Wings wanted that win and without a doubt, they deserved it. Beautiful passes were made; they all connected and they took off.

57 seconds into the game the boys got fired up with a goal from Nyquist assisted by Sheahan. Shortly after Quincy makes it 2-0 with a pass from Datsyuk. And apparently its as easy as 1,2,3 when Tatar makes it 3-0 with assists from Nyquist and Kronwall.

Second period starts and Zetty makes it 4-1 with an assist by Datsyuk and Kronwall.

And then every once in a while you hear a guy yell “smash his face” and it takes everything in you to not yell “stay classy San Diego.” (I hope you all have seen Anchorman)

Then Tatar makes it 5-1, with a powerplay goal his 20th of the season assisted by Sheahan and Weiss.

And after the game I got a beautiful one on one interview with Riley Sheahan as well as videos of interviews of Tatar, Mrazek and Babcock as well.

Once I’m back in the studio at work (and ask my boss how to post videos) I will have them on here for everyone to take a peek at!

For now I will leave you with a picture of one of my interviews of Sheahan.
