I’m currently enjoying my time up in the press box at the Joe as I write this. It only took me eight flights of stairs before I realized I could’ve taken the elevator up here, but hey I made it in my five inch heels so that’s something to brag about.
The Wings are BACK AT IT at the Joe tonight for the first time since New Year’s Eve against the Nashville Predators who are currently the NHL’s top team. Yet, Nashville is without their starting goaltender, Pekka Rinne, due to a sprained knee. Even with that though, the Wings are going to have one hell of a battle because Nashville’s defense will attack the wings like predators. (Okay, awful pun, but I tried.)
The Wings are also without their starting goal tender tonight, Jimmy Howard, due to a groin tear. Yet, Petr Mrazek has made some pretty unbelievable saves and holding his own.
The wings went 4-2 out of the road, but being back at the Joe may get their energy juices flowing more with the advantage of the home crowd and the beloved chant.
Lets hope to add another win for the boys tonight!
LETS GO RED WINGS (followed by an unreal amount of claps)
